Kompienga: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Kompienga municipality, Ibrahim Kousse, launched the Civic and Patriotic Education (ECP) activities on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. He clarified that the civic education program is a training framework, not a sanction. Hundreds of students from the intermediate classes of the Lycee Departemental Lumi¨re de Kompienga, education officials, security forces and supervisors were present at this launch ceremony.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Ibrahim Kousse, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Kompienga, stated that civic and patriotic guidance is part of the dynamic of refounding the Burkinabe school and the reconstruction of the cardinal values of the nation. "The ECP, far from being a formality or a sanction, aims to be a training framework on issues of civic duty, patriotism, and solidarity," he indicated. Mr. Kousse invited the participants to make use of this very educational platform.
