Kokologho: The youth of the commune of Kokologho celebrated an inter-institutional cultural day on Saturday, April 25, aimed at promoting social cohesion and unity within the community. The event, organized under the theme "Responsible Youth, a Better Future," was held in the town's conference room and brought together local, customary, and school authorities.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was led by local educational stakeholders with the goal of strengthening resilience and cohesion among the people of Kokologho, the teaching staff, and the students. The event sought to foster civic engagement and solidarity among young people, aiming to build a peaceful future for the community.
The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Kokologho, who was the guest of honor, expressed satisfaction with the turnout. He praised the students' creativity and highlighted the importance of the initiative in promoting community spirit, especially in a context where unity is crucial.
His Majesty Naaba Sigri, the event's patron, emphasized the significance of the day in preserving local identity. He praised the initiative for bringing students and the entire population together to safeguard culture and urged authorities to support the youth in promoting academic excellence and solidarity.
Co-sponsor Cheick Abdoul Karim Sawadogo also expressed admiration for the youth's enthusiasm, noting that the strong mobilization for culture sends a powerful message in favor of tolerance and a culture of peace within the community.
The cultural day featured various artistic performances, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Boulkiemd© province, under the watchful eyes of religious and traditional leaders.
