K©n©dougou: The mission officer to the Presidency of Faso on behalf of the Hauts-Bassins region, Omar Traor©, spoke on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Orodara, during a public conference, for the benefit of school youth, on the concept of the Progressive and Popular Revolution proclaimed on April 2 by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the town hall’s function room was packed on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, for a public conference on the concept of the Progressive and Popular Revolution. The initiative came from Omar Traor©, the mission officer for the Hauts-Bassins region of the Faso presidency.

Before an audience composed mainly of students from the various secondary schools in the town of Orodara, Mr. Traor© outlined the main directions of the Progressive and Popular Revolution. He first recalled that Burkina Faso has committed to the new direction of its socio-economic development policy, the voice of the Progressive and Popular Revolution.

According to Omar Traor©, the objective of this conference is to equip students and strengthen their capacities on the foundations, values, and principles of this revolution underway in Burkina Faso. He and his focal points exchanged views with the school youth of the Verger city on the vision of the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©.

The students’ concerns focused on current issues, including the appearance of U.S. General Michael Langley, the hairstyles worn by students in secondary schools, and attempts to destabilize the country. The project manager urged the students to avoid false information and manipulation, which can be a source of destabilization. He also called on the students to unwaveringly support the President of Burkina Faso’s initiatives to promote Burkina Faso’s economic and social influence.

The students’ strong mobilization around this activity was positively appreciated by the provincial president of the associations for citizen monitoring, Hermann Konat©, who is also president of the organizing committee. The High Commissioner of K©n©dougou Province, Sadaou Sakira, and the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Orodara, Emmanuel Konat©, attended this public conference to support the organizers.
