K©n©dougou: The High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, presided this Tuesday over the traditional ceremony of raising the national colors within the premises of the Republican Security Company (CRS) of Orodara. The ceremony began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by speeches from administrative and security authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Provincial Director of the National Police of K©n©dougou, Moussa Dieni, presented the CRS of Orodara, explaining its missions and its role in preserving public order and securing people and property. He also provided an update on the security situation in the city of Orodara, urging the population to remain vigilant and strengthen their collaboration with the Defense and Security Forces to contribute effectively to the fight against insecurity.

High Commissioner Sadou Sakira, in his speech at the ceremony, noted that the raising of the flag coincided with the commemoration of August 4, 1983, marking the advent of the Democratic and Popular Revolution. He expressed his delight at the mobilization of the province's vital forces around this republican activity, which he described as an expression of the people's attachment to the nation's values. He urged citizens to strengthen their patriotic spirit, promote social cohesion, and continue their commitment alongside the authorities for the consolidation of peace, security, and development in the province of K©n©dougou.
