K©n©dougou Health District Celebrates Excellence in Healthcare

K©n©dougou: The fourth edition of the N'dorola health district's day of excellence was held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, with the ceremony chaired by the High Commissioner of the K©n©dougou province, represented by Fatoumata Ou©draogo, President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of N'dorola.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event highlighted the achievements of the N'dorola health district, recognizing the efforts of health facilities, Management Committees (COGES), and community agents through the presentation of certificates and letters of congratulation. A total of 20 prizes were awarded to 9 Health and Social Promotion Centers (CSPS), with CSPS Bangasso taking 1st place, followed by Kodona and KoKoro in 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.

The chief medical officer of the N'dorola health district, Dr. Arnaud Antime Ki, emphasized the importance of recognizing merit in participatory management. He stated that such recognition cultivates good habits, professional conscience, and commitment to implementing rules and procedures that enhance governance in the health system. Dr. Ki highlighted that the annual event is an opportunity to reaffirm the ambition to build an efficient, resilient, and effective health system for the population.

Fatoumata Ou©draogo, representing the PDS of N'dorola, commended the health workers who persevere in challenging conditions to provide care despite ongoing insecurity. She expressed encouragement and congratulations to the winners, urging them to sustain their commitment to work and excellence. Ou©draogo emphasized the importance of health workers adhering to standards, rules, and procedures in their care delivery.

Yacouba Soulama, representing the agents, conveyed their gratitude to the N'dorola health authorities for organizing the day of excellence. He assured their commitment to enhancing the district's health system.
