K©n©dougou Exam Session: CEP and BEPC Exams Begin Peacefully in Morolaba

K©n©dougou: The tests for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) and the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC), 2026 session, were officially launched this Tuesday at the Morolaba A Public Primary School, under the chairmanship of the Prefect of the department Germain Hien. The ceremony began with the raising of the national colors, a symbol of civic duty and patriotism, in the presence of administrative authorities, education officials, defense and security forces, jury members, and candidates.

According to Burkina Information Agency, following this formal ceremony, the President of the National Education System (PDS) opened the first envelope containing the CEP exam papers, officially launching the examinations. In his address, he emphasized the importance of adhering to regulations, transparency, and integrity in the organization of the exams, before encouraging candidates to approach the tests calmly, with focus and confidence in their abilities.

The launch operations took place under good conditions, without major incident, thanks to the security and organizational measures taken by the actors involved. For this session, the BEPC center registered 43 candidates, all present, including 20 boys and 23 girls, distributed in a single center.

As for the CEP, 115 candidates were registered, including 41 boys and 74 girls, distributed across three rooms. Of these, 112 candidates actually sat for the exam, namely 39 boys and 73 girls, with three absent (2 boys and 1 girl).
