K©n©dougou: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the municipality of Morolaba, Germain Mien, urged the population on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, to remain committed to supporting the authorities in defending the interests of the municipality and the country. This was during the Day of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the flag-raising ceremony was presided over by Germain Mien in the presence of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), the agricultural VDP, and officials of decentralized services and customary religious authorities.
After the playing of the national anthem, the PDS delivered a message from the Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©. He commended the mobilization of local stakeholders and emphasized the importance of this day dedicated to promoting patriotism, social cohesion, and civic engagement.
Mr. Mien further urged the population to remain committed to supporting the authorities in defending the interests of the municipality and the country, while also paying tribute to the security forces and the volunteers for their efforts in securing the territory.
