K©n©dougou Civil Service Prepares Future Retirees for Administrative Transition

K©n©dougou: The Secretary General of the K©n©dougou Province, Bassanma Ko, chaired a workshop on the administrative management of permanent retirements from the civil service in Orodara. The meeting, organized by the Hauts-Bassins Regional Directorate of the Civil Service, was held for employees scheduled to retire in 2025.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the workshop aimed to assist future retirees in approaching their departure from public administration with confidence. It aligns with the Regional Directorate’s mission to provide support and advice in human resources management.



The regional director of the Hauts-Bassins civil service, Mahamadi Dianda, stated that the activity was designed to enhance the capabilities of human resources managers regarding the procedures for final exits in the Burkinabe civil service. The session provided participants with essential information on administrative procedures, required documentation, regulatory deadlines, as well as opportunities for retraining or post-career activities.



Bassanma Ko commended this important initiative within the human resources management framework, emphasizing the necessity for meticulous preparation as retirement marks a significant phase in professional life. The day’s key activities included presentations on retirement administration and professional transition opportunities. These were delivered by the regional director of the Civil Service and the head of the National Fund for Supporting Discharged and Retired Workers (FONADR) in Bobo-Dioulasso.



Interactive discussions were also conducted, allowing participants to voice concerns and receive practical solutions. For attendees, the workshop provided timely clarification on essential points previously unclear, as expressed by one participant.
