Ol-Joro Orok: Kipipiri FC thrashed Ndaragwa FC to emerge as the Governor Kiarie Badilisha Super Cup winners that ended on Sunday at Ol-Joro Orok Stadium. The hard-fought final ended in a penalty shootout of 6-5 with Kipipiri FC taking home a bountiful cheque of Sh500,000, with Ndaragwa going home with a cheque of Sh300,000. The finale ended in a deadlock during both normal time and extra time, forcing a penalty decider where Kipipiri emerged victorious to claim the Sh500,000 grand prize.
According to Kenya News Agency, speaking at the event, Governor Badilisha reaffirmed his commitment to supporting youth development through sports, creative arts, and innovation. He emphasized that the tournament was not just about competition but also about unity, talent nurturing, and empowering the younger generation.
Ol Jororok volleyball men’s team dominated their opponents to claim the championship title. Meanwhile, in the women’s category, Ol-Kalou Volleyball Club emerged victorious after defeating Ol-Jororok women in a competitive match.
