Ouagadougou – Today, a convoy of 14 ambulances, provided by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, crossed the Rafah border crossing into the Gaza Strip. These ambulances are part of a larger commitment to send 20 such vehicles to the area. Each ambulance is equipped with essential medical equipment, including devices for measuring vital signs, oxygen machines, first aid kits, burn treatment supplies, patient transport beds, splints, bandages, and other medical necessities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this delivery of ambulances is part of a broader Saudi initiative to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The initiative reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in the region.

As of November 29, 2023, during the Saudi popular campaign to provide relief to Palestinians in Gaza, a total of 23 relief planes have been dispatched. These planes have delivered over 542 tons of aid, encompassing shelter materials, food, and medical supplies.

In addition to the air relief efforts, the campaign has also dispatched two ships carrying 101 containers of aid. This includes 58 large containers filled with medicines and medical solutions for emergency care, and 43 large containers with food and shelter materials. The comprehensive nature of this aid reflects the Saudi commitment to addressing the varied needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
