Moscow: The Ukrainian armed forces have executed 11 attacks on Russian energy facilities within the past day, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The ministry reported on Thursday that these actions were in violation of the Russian-US agreements, which had mandated a 30-day cessation of strikes on energy facilities starting from March 18, 2025.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the attacks targeted regions including the Lugansk (Luhansk) People’s Republic, the Donetsk People’s Republic, and the Zaporozhye (Zaporizhzhia) and Kherson regions. Additionally, strikes were reported in the Bryansk, Belgorod, and Krasnodar regions.
The statement from the Russian Defense Ministry highlighted that the Ukrainian forces damaged an overhead steel low-pressure gas distribution pipeline operated by Gazprom Gas Distribution Belgorod. Furthermore, a high-voltage line in the LPR was disrupted following a UAV attack, resulting in a power outage at the Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant.
