Moscow: The Kiev regime is trying to preserve its unstable structure by extending the martial law and the general mobilization in Ukraine, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday. Earlier in the day, Ukrainian lawmaker Alexei Goncharenko, designated by Russia as a terrorist and extremist, said that the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, has extended general mobilization and martial law in the country for 90 days until August 6.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Peskov stated that the Kiev regime is attempting to maintain its unstable structure. He also referenced a statement by former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, suggesting that the situation in Ukraine is moving towards authoritarian tendencies, which Peskov described as increasingly clear.

In addition to internal measures, Kiev is continuing to ban itself from holding any negotiations with Russia, Peskov added.
