Khwisero Sub County – Students in Khwisero Sub County are being encouraged to apply for the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) bursary before schools reopen next year. Area MP Christopher Aseka announced that the application process is now open, with forms available in all public primary schools in the constituency.

According to MP Aseka, the bursary application forms are readily accessible for students planning to join colleges and universities in this financial year. He highlighted that the deadline for the submission of applications is set for December 4, 2023. The bursary program has been instrumental in assisting students from economically challenged backgrounds in the region to complete their education.

MP Aseka, speaking about his focus on education, mentioned that his efforts have led to improved infrastructure and academic performance in local learning institutions. He emphasized his commitment to continuing collaboration with school management, the community, and other key stakeholders to further enhance educational infrastructure in the area.

“I am committed to supporting education in the Constituency through scholarships and bursaries,” Aseka affirmed. During his inspection of various NG-CDF projects in the area, he stated his intention to keep engaging with the community to identify and prioritize their needs for sustainable development.

The NG-CDF has also been utilized in the construction of multi-storey buildings for several schools, including Khwisero Girls and Shiongo Secondary Schools, among others. Aseka instructed that the completed bursary application forms should be returned to their collection points by December 18 of this year.
