Kenedougou: The President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Morolaba, Germain Mien, called upon teachers during the opening of the educational conference for preschool and primary school teachers to remember the fighting forces committed to education in areas facing security challenges.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Germain Mien urged attendees to offer a pious thought for the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP), and educational personnel operating in high-risk security zones. This appeal was made on October 15, 2025, under the theme “Implementation of educational reforms and appropriation of integration situations.”

The conference marked the beginning of discussions on new educational reforms. Germain Mien commended the ministry’s efforts, highlighting the new curricula being tested, which are based on the Inclusive Pedagogical Approach. This initiative is further strengthened by the presidential drive for quality education.
