Karssomé Kabré Appointed as New Provincial Director of Infrastructure in Tuy

Houndé, Burkina Faso – Karssomé Kabré was officially installed as the new provincial director of infrastructure and access to Tuy on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, by the High Commissioner, Issiaka Segda.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Karssomé Kabré officially assumed his new role following his appointment by the Council of Ministers on October 25, 2023, succeeding Abdoul Kader Ouattara. Before this appointment, Kabré served in the regional directorate responsible for infrastructure in the Boucle du Mouhoun. In his new capacity, he committed to fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him by his superiors and the country’s highest authorities.

During the installation ceremony, Kabré expressed his intention to maintain and, if necessary, improve the achievements of his predecessor. He emphasized the importance of participatory management and sought the collaboration of his colleagues to achieve their common goals.

Abdoul Kader Ouattara, the outgoing provincial director, held the position for over three years, overseeing numerous road infrastructure projects in Tuy despite challenging security conditions. He highlighted several completed and ongoing projects, including maintenance of various roads and rural routes.

High Commissioner Issiaka Segda congratulated both Ouattara for his accomplishments and Kabré on his appointment, wishing them success in their respective new roles. Léonard Kangambega, the regional director in charge of Hauts-Bassins infrastructure, also offered his encouragement and advice to both directors.
