Kourweogo: The President of the Special Delegation of the Laye municipality, Seydou Milogo, officially installed Karim Kabore as Head of the Laye Basic Education District (CEB). The ceremony witnessed the presence of administrative, traditional, and religious authorities, along with members of the educational community.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Karim Kabore was installed as the new Head of the Basic Education District of Laye, succeeding Soumaila Sanfo. Kabore expressed his acceptance of the role with humility and determination, acknowledging the trust placed in him by the authorities. He emphasized the importance of setting an example and encouraged cooperation and integrity among all stakeholders to realize ambitions for the betterment of Burkinabe children.
Soumaila Sanfo, the outgoing Head of the CEB of Niou, expressed satisfaction with his tenure, highlighting achievements in school exams. He remarked on the continuous and collective nature of education, likening it to essential daily activities. He also praised the support he received from educational stakeholders in Laye.
Hyacinthe Ky, the provincial director in charge of primary and non-formal education, urged the new official to build upon the accomplishments of his predecessor. He emphasized the importance of professionalism, rigor, and collaboration as foundational elements of Kabore's role.
Seydou Millogo, President of the special delegation of the Laye commune, advised Kabore to establish communication based on trust, reinforce administrative and pedagogical rigor, and display exemplary leadership focused on learners. Millogo assured his full support and availability to Kabore.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of gifts to the outgoing chief, marking an atmosphere of cordiality.
