Kani Boni Takes Leadership of Orodara High Court

K©n©dougou: Kani Boni was sworn in on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in Orodara, as President of the High Court and President of the Administrative Court of Orodara. The formal installation ceremony was presided over by Judge Jean Kabr©, who officially confirmed his appointment.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Kani Boni was appointed during the second extraordinary session of the High Council of the Judiciary. He expressed his deep gratitude to his superiors for the trust placed in him. Acknowledging the responsibility entrusted to him, he praised the work of his predecessor, S©kou Kamagat©, and paid tribute to the guidance and lessons learned from him.

Kani Boni announced his intention to establish a permanent dialogue with all actors of the jurisdiction, including the prosecutor of Faso, the registry staff, and all collaborators of the court. He emphasized his commitment to promoting judicial governance based on transparency, rigor, and efficiency to strengthen the institution's credibility and the public's trust in the justice system.

The prosecutor of Burkina Faso at the Orodara High Court, Ali Dianda, praised the new president's professional qualities. He highlighted the requirements inherent in the function of magistrate, such as integrity, probity, rigor, and a high sense of responsibility, which are essential for the proper administration of justice.

Immediately after taking office, Kani Boni installed the new chief clerk, Daouda Ouattara, head clerk of the Orodara High Court, who also serves as the chief clerk of the administrative court of the same city.
