Kampti: Teachers of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Kampti convened their general assembly on Wednesday, January 7, 2025, at the Sie Alexis KAMBOU reception hall in Kampti town hall to pledge their collective commitment to the success of the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting was attended by key education figures, including Mr. Sie Pale, Regional Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DREPPNF) for DjOrO, and Mr. Jonas K. Tioye, Provincial Director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education for Poni. The assembly's agenda included initial contact, a review of the first-term assessment, presentation of the objectives and guidelines for the upcoming school year, and other business matters.
Mr. Eug¨ne Hien, Head of the Kampti Basic Education District (CCEB), welcomed the participants and extended New Year's greetings. He stressed the importance of teachers' full and collective commitment to the success of the educational mission and reiterated the non-negotiable nature of ongoing educational reforms.
Regional Director Mr. Sie Pale highlighted the importance of communication for the success of educational reform activities, addressing teachers' concerns about working conditions and assuring them of the hierarchy's support. Similarly, Provincial Director Mr. Jonas K. Tioye emphasized adherence to standardized assessments and encouraged engaging students in various activities during the transition period between classes and holidays.
The focus of this school year, as named by CCEB Hien, is "Commitment," with all stakeholders urged to invest fully in this theme. Teachers of the Kampti CEB reaffirmed their dedication to achieving a success rate of at least 90%, aiming to enhance academic performance in the Kampti commune and the broader DjOrO region.
