Kampti Hosts Information Session on Youth Integration and Ideological Reflection at CEBNF

Kampti: The Kampti Non-Formal Basic Education Center (CEBNF) hosted an information and exchange session on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, focusing on the Youth Promotion and Professional Integration Service (SPIPJ) and the theme of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, organized by Kampti Town Hall's Employment Opportunities Officers, Mr. Sansan Donald Hien and Mr. Mamadou Ouattara, gathered the center's administrative staff and trainees. The session aimed to inform participants about socio-professional integration opportunities and encourage ideological reflection among the youth.

The first presentation, led by Mr. Sansan Donald Hien, highlighted the Youth Promotion and Professional Integration Service (SPIPJ). He explained that this service is part of the presidential initiative Referent-Opportunities-Integration (ROI), approved by the Council of Ministers on May 31, 2023, and launched on June 17, 2023, in Matourkou, Bobo-Dioulasso. Hien emphasized the initiative's goal to establish a system for informing, guiding, and supporting young people in rural areas to promote their socio-economic empowerment.

Mr. Hien elaborated that the service operates in 302 rural and four urban municipalities that are not provincial capitals, managed by Employment Opportunity Coordinators (ROPIs). These coordinators act as intermediaries between young people and various organizations promoting youth integration, directing them to training, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities.

The second presentation by Mr. Mamadou Ouattara explored the theme of the Progressive and Popular Revolution (RPP), questioning the ideological orientation for young people. He addressed imperialism as a factor influencing revolts and struggles for emancipation globally, while also examining issues of sovereignty, particularly in Africa and Burkina Faso. Ouattara urged young people to cultivate a critical mindset, patriotism, and civic engagement to contribute to national development and safeguarding interests.

The session included an exchange where learners raised concerns about professional integration opportunities, training availability, and the youth's role in building a just society. Participants appreciated the meeting for enhancing their understanding of youth support mechanisms and civic awareness.

The event concluded amicably, with attendees pledging to engage more in initiatives promoting empowerment and local development.
