Kadiogo: The Federation of Employers' Organizations in Tourism and Hospitality of Burkina Faso (FOPATH-B) has made a significant contribution by donating 100 tons of cement to the presidential initiative "Faso Mebo," launched by Captain Ibrahim Traore. This gesture aims to support government efforts and underscores the organization's commitment to the country's development. According to Burkina Information Agency, Pierre Celestin Mamoudou Zoungrana, president of FOPATH-B, stated that the donation was a collective effort from all actors in the tourism and hospitality sector. He emphasized the importance of participating in national construction efforts and encouraged the people of Burkina Faso to visit the Faso Mebo site to witness the scale of the work and the collective commitment to the initiative. Issa Drabo, president of the National Association of Travel Agencies of Burkina Faso (ANAVB), expressed support for the operation, highlighting its role in promoting sustainable development. He underscored the necessity of solid road infrastructure and improvements for the country's development. Monique Ouedraogo/Ilboudo, Director General of Tourism, noted that the initiative aligns with the tourism sector's goals, particularly in enhancing the attractiveness of Burkina Faso as a destination. She highlighted the civic participation of tourism stakeholders, fulfilling their duty by contributing to the initiative. FOPATH-B represents professionals in the tourism and hospitality sector, aiming to unite and defend its members' interests while promoting local and international tourism.
