Ouagadougou: Joseph Ki-Zerbo University hosted the doctoral thesis defense of Mr. Nourkoum Kambou©l© in Modern Literature on December 15, 2025. Following the presentation of his work, the jury awarded him the distinction "Very Honorable".
According to Burkina Information Agency, the thesis is entitled "Dynamics of Linguistic Particularities in the Novel Writing of Samuel Millogo and Monique Ilboudo: Sociolinguistic and Stylistic Foundations, Lexicographical and Didactic Perspectives". It analyzes the linguistic uses in the novels of two Burkinab¨ writers and examines their sociolinguistic, stylistic, lexicographical, and didactic implications.
The jury, chaired by Professor Joseph Par©, appreciated the scientific quality of the research and the contributions made to the study of the French language in the Burkinab¨ context, particularly in relation to the teaching of national languages.
Following his defense, Mr. Nourkoum Kambou©l© was awarded a doctorate in Modern Literature, specializing in French Grammar, with the distinction "Very Honorable."
