Joo Lourenço Sends Condolence Message to Algerian President

Luanda: The Head of State, Joo Lourenço, on Tuesday sent a message of condolence to his Algerian counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, following the death of former Algerian Head of State, Liamine Zéroual, which occurred on March 28th. According to Angola Press News Agency, the Angolan Head of State expressed deep consternation at the event, acknowledging the impact on the people of Algeria. In his message, Joo Lourenço conveyed his condolences and solidarity both on behalf of the Angolan Government and personally to President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The message extended sympathies to the bereaved family and the Algerian people. Liamine Zéroual served as President of Algeria from 1994 to 1999. He passed away after a prolonged illness at the age of 84.
