Luanda: Matters of common interest, in the framework of the co-operation relations between Angola and Ghana, were analysed this Saturday, in Luanda, at a private meeting between the Angolan Head of State, Joo Louren§o, and his Ghana counterpart, John Dramani Manama. The meeting was held in the Presidential Palace and lasted about one hour, coinciding with the short visit by the Ghanaian Head of State to Angola.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the politico-diplomatic relations between Angola and Ghana are framed in historical ties and common interests, particularly in the context of the African Union (AU) and other multilateral organisations. Both countries share the vision to promote peace, sustainable development, and regional integration within the African continent.
Angola and Ghana have historical ties that trace back to the time of the struggle for African independence and the strengthening of the Pan-African movement.
