Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani voiced, in a phone talk with Minster of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar, his country’s willingness to keep supporting Tunisia at the economic level and with international funders.

Tajani invited Ammar to make a working visit to Italy, in a bid to cement the tradition of consultation between the two countries.

The Italian FM congratulated on the occasion, Nabil Ammar on the confidence that President Kais Said has placed in his person, reads a Foreign Ministry press release on Tuesday.

Ammar for his part, commended the relations of friendship binding Tunisia and Italy, affirming willingness to further foster them in the various fields in service of the two peoples’ interests.
