Sissili: The new head of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Boura, Issoufou Koudbi Gandema, was officially installed in his position on Friday, November 28, 2025. The ceremony took place under the chairmanship of the President of the Special Delegation (PDS), Judith Diasso/Kanyala.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the educational community of the commune of Boura now has a new leader. Issoufou Koudbi Gandema has officially taken over the reins of the Basic Education District, succeeding Boudnoma Fulgence Kabr, who has been called to other functions. The handover was held in the meeting room of the Boura town hall, in the presence of educational supervisors, school directors, and administrative staff of the inspectorate.
The outgoing CCEB, Boudnoma Fulgence Kabr, expressed his gratitude to all the actors of education in the constituency for the collaboration he received throughout his mission. He invited his former collaborators to give the same warm welcome and dedication to his successor, in order to maintain the quality of the educational offer in the municipality. The representative of the educational community, Nongarim Konkobo, also praised the qualities of the outgoing leader.
"Since his arrival in January 2023, Boudnoma Fulgence Kabr has distinguished himself by his sense of duty, his regularity, and his ability to always give the best of himself," he said, before adding: "We are delighted with your arrival among us and we have no doubt about your ability to continue the work of your predecessor."
The new head of basic education in Boura, Issoufou Koudbi Gandema, says he is fully aware of the magnitude of the task that awaits him. He asked for the support of all teachers, supervisors, and local authorities to meet the challenges of education in the municipality, in a spirit of continuity and improvement of school performance. "I hope, with the support of all of you, to carry the torch of education high in the commune of Boura," he said.
The president of the special delegation of Boura, Judith Diasso/Kanyala, congratulated the outgoing official for the work done and gave advice to the new arrival. She also urged all education staff to "unite" around the new chief to ensure "the influence of the school in Boura."
