Israeli Airstrikes in Lebanon Result in 36 Deaths, 150 Injuries in 24 Hours

BEIRUT — Over the past 24 hours, Israeli airstrikes targeting various regions in Lebanon have resulted in 36 deaths and 150 injuries, escalating the human toll of this conflict.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Lebanese Health Ministry released figures late Tuesday detailing the casualties. In the Bekaa region alone, six people were killed and eight others wounded. The most severe impact was in the Nabatieh governorate, where 30 people died and 121 were injured. Additionally, 20 individuals sustained injuries in Mount Lebanon, and one person was wounded in the district of Baalbek Hermel.

The ongoing conflict has now seen more than 2,100 fatalities in Lebanon since the onset of the Israeli attacks, with injuries surpassing 10,000, as reported by Lebanese authorities. The escalation continues to draw international concern over the humanitarian implications of the sustained aerial assaults.
