He explained that the airstrikes, which occurred Monday afternoon, were focused on the Southern Front of Hezbollah, including the elite Radwan Forces. Hagari highlighted the elimination of six senior commanders, notably Ali Ahmad Ismail and Ahmad Hassan Nazal, who played significant roles within the militant group's structure in the Bint Jbeil area. Hagari further disclosed that the targeted underground facilities were part of a larger network designed for launching attacks against IDF forces and northern Israeli communities. Over 125 strategic sites in souther n Lebanon were hit in the extensive 24-hour operation, aiming to dismantle Hezbollah's operational capabilities in the region. The strikes came in response to an aggressive assault from Hezbollah, which launched over 170 rockets into Israel on Tuesday alone, as per Israeli records. The ongoing conflict has escalated tensions in the area, with Lebanese authorities reporting more than 2,100 fatalities and 10,000 injuries since the beginning of Israeli assaults.
