ADDIS ABABA — In a move to bolster diplomatic relations, Iraq will reopen its embassy in Ethiopia, as confirmed during a credential presentation ceremony in Baghdad.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, Ambassador Sied Muhumed Jibril of Ethiopia conveyed greetings from President Sahle-Work Zewde to the Iraqi President Abdullatif Jemal Rashid and emphasized Ethiopia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations. President Rashid expressed appreciation for Ethiopia’s support and confirmed the reopening of Iraq’s embassy, reflecting both nations’ desire to enhance cooperation and mutual development.
