Tehran: Iran has opened the Strait of Hormuz to all commercial vessels for the remaining duration of the ceasefire, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghtchi announced. "In accordance with the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon, the passage of all commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz is fully open for the remaining duration of the agreement," Abbas Araghtchi wrote on his X page. He stressed that the ships should take a route agreed upon with Iran.
According to Burkina Information Agency, a ten-day ceasefire with Israel came into effect in Lebanon on Friday at midnight (UTC+3). This agreement was reached by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, under the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
