Ipelce Celebrates Accountability Day with Focus on Civic Excellence and Strategic Planning

Ipelce: The municipality of Ipelce held its Accountability Day on Saturday, December 20, 2025, providing an opportunity to review achievements, outline strategic plans for 2026, and celebrate civic excellence.

According to Burkina Information Agency, President of the Ipelce Special Delegation, Emeline Kiemtore/Bonkoungou, emphasized that the event aimed to assess the accomplishments for the 2023 and 2024 fiscal years, monitor the progress of 2025 projects, and set strategic goals for the upcoming year. This citizen-led initiative attracted significant participation from local stakeholders and residents, fostering a spirit of community and development.

The Accountability Day facilitated a dialogue between citizens and municipal officials, focusing on the management and evaluation of the budgets spanning from 2023 to 2025. Attendees were presented with a comprehensive municipal report covering this three-year period, followed by the awarding of certificates of recognition to local contributors.
