Ioba’s Oronkua Prefect Encourages Calm During 2026 CEP Exam Launch

Bamako: The prefect and president of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of Oronkua, Victor Kiswend© Dondyr©, has called on candidates for the Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination for the 2026 session to remain calm. This appeal was made during the official launch of the tests on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch of the exams featured the symbolic opening of the first exam envelope by Victor Dondyr©, with educational officials and local authorities in attendance. On this occasion, Mr. Dondyr© encouraged candidates to maintain calmness, focus, and self-confidence while also praising the dedication of teachers, supervisors, and parents in supporting students throughout the academic year.

The provincial director of Preschool, Primary, and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) for Ioba, Tibouo-Ion Romaric Som©, urged the candidates to strive for excellence, emphasizing their role as the future of Burkina Faso. He highlighted the significance of their efforts in shaping the future leaders and builders of the nation.

For this 2026 session, the CEB of Oronkua is accommodating 460 candidates, comprising 195 boys and 265 girls, across three examination centers. Educational authorities assured that all necessary measures have been implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of the CEP exam in Oronkua.
