Ioba High Commissioner Encourages Calm as BEPC Exams Begin in Dano

Noumbiel: The High Commissioner of the Ioba Province, Innocents Ouattara, invited the candidates of jury 3 of the Dano center on Tuesday to be calm on the occasion of the official launch of the written tests of the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) exam and the entrance to the second year, at the Dano municipal high school.

According to Burkina Information Agency, jury 3 of the Dano center, sitting at the Dano municipal high school, served as the setting for the official launch of the written tests of the BEPC exam session of 2026 in the Ioba. At 7:25 am, the provincial high commissioner, Innocents Ouattara, opened the envelope containing the first BEPC exam paper, French language and expression. A tour of the exam rooms preceded the start of the written phase.

The head of the Ioba encouraged the candidates. "Be calm and concentrate on your answer sheet. Avoid looking elsewhere and above all, trust your teachers and yourselves. Each of you is a future graduate, I am certain of it. All the exams are based on the lessons your teachers have given you," he urged the candidates.

Mr. Ouattara particularly encouraged student Safiatou Ramd©, who is taking part in the exam despite her fractured right leg. A special place has been set up for her. The president of jury 3, Tind©ma Issa Sawadogo, stated that there were no absences on this first day at the center based in Dano. According to him, the jury is composed of a main center located at the Dano municipal high school and two secondary centers in M¨bar and Yabogane.

A total of 294 candidates, including 124 boys and 170 girls, are taking part in jury 3. The 24 staff members assigned to this jury are all mobilized for the smooth running of the session. The High Commissioner of Ioba was accompanied by the provincial director in charge of secondary education, Joseph Kima, and the defense and security forces (FDS).
