Ioba Agricultural Volunteers Donate 50,000 CFA Francs to Faso Mªbo

Ioba: The Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of Agriculture made a donation of fifty thousand CFA francs to Faso Mªbo on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the High Commission of Dano. The third cohort of agricultural VDPs, comprised of 140 young people trained at DRIVE Sarl, demonstrated their patriotic commitment by raising the funds as a contribution to the presidential initiative Faso Mªbo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner of Ioba Province, Innocent Ouattara, received the donation from the representative of the agricultural VDP, Josu© Bay©. The ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Special Delegation of the Commune of Dano, Denis Zanr©, the Director General of DRIVE Sarl, Abdoul Rahim Gansor©, and the VDP training coordinator, Abdoulaye Ou©draogo.

The representative of the agricultural VDP, Josu© Bay©, stated: "We, the agricultural VDP of the 3rd cohort in training at DRIVE Sarl, support all the actions of our comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©. We are committed to development."

The High Commissioner of Ioba Province, Innocent Ouattara, congratulated the agricultural volunteers for their patriotism. Additionally, the agricultural volunteers provided maintenance equipment worth 75,000 CFA francs to the medical center with a surgical unit (CMA) in Dano and organized a sanitation day to clean the CMA courtyard.
