Tuy/Community Leisure Day: Board game players invited to get organized
The provincial sports and leisure directorate organized, on Saturday September 23, 2023 in Houndé, the 7th edition of the Tuy community leisure day. Participants communicated around several board games.
The 7th edition of the community leisure day was held on Saturday September 23, 2023 in Houndé.
Organized by the provincial sports and leisure department, this day was initiated to allow board game players in the province to better organize themselves to form an association.
More than a hundred participants took part in petanque, checkerboard, card games, ludo, scrabble and awalé competitions.
At the end of the competitions, the two best players in each discipline received symbolic prizes.
According to the provincial director of sports and leisure, Guénolé Zabsonré, this day is an opportunity for board game enthusiasts to sympathize and improve their playing practice.
Mr. Zabsonré urged players in different disciplines to form an association in order to be able to participate in competitions at the na
tional and international level.
The Secretary General of the province, Bassidiki Ouattara, who kicked off the games, welcomed the mobilization of the participants and congratulated the provincial sports and leisure directorate which has organized this activity since 2015.
