International Women’s Day Conference Mobilizes Seno Teachers for Educational Reforms

Dori: The Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF) of Seno organized a public conference in Dori on Saturday to mobilize teachers in the province for the success of educational reforms.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this conference was part of the commemorative activities for International Women's Day, centered around the theme: "What contribution can women make to the successful implementation of new reforms in the education system?" The event was led by speaker Ahmed Cisse, who emphasized the pivotal role of women teachers in transforming the education system. He highlighted the strategic role women, as educators and social actors, play in supporting ongoing reforms, and how the meeting provided an opportunity for participants to better understand the eleven reforms of the education system.

Presiding over the ceremony, the High Commissioner of Seno province, Yaya Kone, praised the initiative's relevance. He congratulated the organizers for the quality of the conference, which he believes enlightened participants on the various reforms of the education system and the expected contribution of women in strengthening social cohesion through education.

At the conclusion of the discussions, participants expressed their commitment to supporting the implementation of the reforms in their schools. The conference also included the presentation of certificates of recognition to teachers and partner organizations who have shown dedication and commitment to their students.
