Luanda: The deadline for completing the transfer of international passenger flights from 4 de Fevereiro International Airport to Dr. Ant³nio Agostinho Neto International Airport has been extended to September 30. A press release from the Ministry of Transport indicates that airlines have 15 working days to notify the airport operator of the effective date of their transfer, and must ensure that certified service providers are selected and contracted by that date.
According to Angola Press News Agency, the decision to extend the deadline was made to address institutional responsibility and the operational and social situation. The extension aims to safeguard necessary predictability for citizens and airlines, ensuring effective preparation of the public and private services involved.
