Otjiwarongo - The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has escalated their search for five individuals suspected of robbing a fuel station in Otjiwarongo, making off with over N.dollars 246,000 early Monday morning.
According to Namibia Press Agency, head of community affairs in the Otjozondjupa Region, the incident occurred between 06:00 and 06:30 AM when a female employee was transporting cash within the station premises. The suspects, armed with a pistol, a machete, and an axe, stormed the shop, coercing the manager to open an unlocked safe. The thieves subsequently fled on foot with the money. The suspects remain at large, and ongoing police investigations have yet to recover the stolen funds.
