India Interested in Cooperation with Educational, Health Institutions in Cabinda

Cabinda: The Indian Ambassador to Angola, Vidhu P. Nair, announced on Monday in the northern province of Cabinda that India is seeking to establish exchanges with higher education and health institutions in the region. This initiative aims to bolster collaborative efforts and explore investment opportunities in these sectors.

According to Angola Press News Agency, Ambassador Nair spoke about his visit to Cabinda, which began on Saturday, highlighting efforts to expand cooperation and identify new investment areas. Following a meeting with local governor Suzana de Abreu, Nair expressed gratitude for the support and openness from the local authorities, noting their readiness to engage with Indian investors across various business sectors.

The diplomat emphasized that this welcoming approach from Cabinda's authorities is likely to attract numerous Indian businessmen interested in investing in diverse fields, particularly in the establishment of building material factories, including those for cement, paints, and adhesive cement. Nair reiterated India's dedication to assisting Angola in enhancing its economy through investments that generate employment and improve household incomes.
