Black Hawks maintained their top position by defeating Space Age 3-1 on Saturday and overpowering Rocano King Rangers 6-0 on Sunday, extending their lead by five points over their nearest competitors, Bush Bucks.
Hartley Tiyebulyo, coach of Black Hawks, expressed confidence in his team’s preparedness for the matches, acknowledging the threat posed by their rivals, Bush Bucks. Tiyebulyo emphasized the team’s commitment to winning the title, highlighting the importance of upcoming games and the pressure from Bush Bucks.
Meanwhile, Bush Bucks remained a formidable competitor, securing 30 points after victories over Oryza Sativa and Sahara. Namib Chiefs, still in the title race, achieved a 4-1 win against Bright Stars and a 1-1 draw with Oryza Sativa, placing them in third with 24 points. Oryza Sativa follows closely with 20 points.
Blue Chiefs hold fifth place with 17 points, while Rocano King Rangers and Green Eagles share sixth and seventh positions with 16 points each. Space Age sits in eighth with 14 points, Black Buffaloes in ninth with 13 points, and Bright Stars in 10th with 12 points. Imore and Sahara are at the bottom, with eight and six points, respectively.
