Immanuel Kambwale Triumphs in 11th Namibia Grape Company Marathon

AUSSENKEHR – Employee of the Namibia Grape Company, Immanuel Kambwale, emerged victorious in the 11th edition of the Namibia Grape Company marathon on Sunday morning.

According to a new release by Namibia Press Agency, the marathon was part of the 21st annual sports tournament organized in collaboration with Capespan Grape Company for employees across all nine grape companies at Aussenkehr.

The event saw over 50 employees participate in various distance categories, including 22-km and 11-km races. Kambwale completed the marathon in one hour and eleven minutes, winning N.dollars 2000. Other winners in various categories were also announced, including 29-year-old Rauna Lukas and 42-year-old Desderia Dula who both won in the 11-km women and veteran women categories, respectively, each walking away with N.dollars 1000. Moses Nakashimba, Chairperson of the organizing team, expressed satisfaction with the increasing number of participants each year.
