IDPs trained in agro-food processing

Bobo- Dioulasso, March 15, 2023 (AIB)-Internally displaced women from Borough 2 of Bobo-Dioulasso benefited from training in agri-food processing on Wednesday, March 8, 2023. These trainings are part of the commemoration of the International Women’s Day. women’s rights.

The Association for training and reintegration through the profession of vulnerable people (AFORM / PV), as part of the celebration of the Day of March 8, trained internally displaced and destitute women from district 2 of the municipality of Bobo- Dioulasso in agro-food processing and in the manufacture of liquid soap.

At the end of the training at the headquarters of the association in sector 23 of the city of Sya, the women received installation kits and clothing items offered by goodwill. For the president of AFORM/PV, Ms. Juliette Zida, this training for internally displaced persons aims to contribute to the well-being and economic empowerment of people in precarious situations for their contribution to the development of the country. She urged people of goodwill to support displaced people, some of whom live in unbearable conditions. The representative of district no. 2, Franck Ouédraogo, welcomed the initiative of the association and promised to bring the contribution of the district to the care of IDPs.
