Dori – Ibrahim Kagoné has been installed as the new regional director of RTB2 Sahel, taking over from Bouma Ernest Nébié who has moved to other responsibilities. The installation ceremony was led by Grace Isabellita Foro, the Secretary General of RTB, on a recent Saturday in Dori.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Kagoné’s mission will focus on highlighting the region’s activities related to national territorial reconquest, social cohesion, and economic growth. Kagoné, previously a cameraman at RTB2 Sahel, expressed gratitude for his new role and committed to enhancing the station’s programming and partnerships to boost regional visibility and understanding of government policies. His predecessor, Bouma Ernest Nébié, credited his success in the role to the support of his colleagues and partnership initiatives that strengthened the station’s infrastructure and capacity during his five-year tenure.
