Commander Abuu Muslim, who hails from Bur-Hakkaba, has moved his children from Jilib in Middle Jubba and Kunya Barrow in lower Shabeelle to a safer area in Southwest.
Commanders Mohamed Mire and Buli from Eyl district in Bosaso are also among the leaders frantically trying to evacuate their children to safer locations.
They have confirmed that they have moved their children to government-controlled areas in Puntland and Jubbaland.
