Noumbiel: The Regional Directorate of Water and Forests organized a flag-raising ceremony on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the premises of the Provincial Directorate of Water and Forests of Houet in Bobo-Dioulasso. The event aimed to strengthen cohesion among agents and motivate them for improved performance.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Colonel Hassime Rabo, the regional director of Water and Forests, highlighted that the ceremony symbolizes the Directorate's continuous support for its agents, regardless of their deployment locations. He emphasized that the event serves as a platform to share information and inspire the staff to achieve better results.

During the ceremony, Lieutenant-Colonel Fuwalagye Lucie Kando, the provincial director of Water and Forests for Houet, expressed her gratitude to the regional directorate for organizing the event at its headquarters. She noted that this initiative brings the Regional Directorate closer to its decentralized services, thereby reinforcing team spirit and enhancing the staff's sense of belonging to a unified team.
