The cultural company “Charistas event and culture” presented on Saturday May 27, 2023 in Bobo-Dioulasso, a play entitled “From the belief of the Do to the faith of the credo”, on the social cohesion and living together through religions.

A priest settles in a village, baptizes the young people and summons them to abandon their traditional religions.

The head of the village, informed, summons all the inhabitants and lends it under the palaver tree.

The followers of the traditional religion and the converts to Christianity will then each defend their conviction.

From confrontation to confrontation and comparison to comparison, the two groups have come to the conclusion that the religions worship the same God, but it is the way of doing so that differs.

The village chief then invited the inhabitants to each practice their religion with respect for the other and to cultivate love, forgiveness and living together.

This is the summary of the play entitled “From the belief of the Do to the faith of the creed” taken from the work, “Third Church, my mother, the conversion of a pagan community to Christ” by the Archbishop Emeritus , Anselme Titiama Sanou.

Said piece, directed by Charistas events and culture was presented this Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Maison de la Culture in Bobo-Dioulasso.

The spectators praised the courage of the structure which put their finger on this question of cohabitation of religions considered taboo.

Anselme Titiama Sanou was delighted to see that the fight he has been leading for fifty years in the promotion of peaceful coexistence between religions is perpetuated by the youngest.

The head of Charistas events and culture, Richard Kambou said that the play is the contribution of its structure to the promotion of social cohesion and living together in Burkina Faso.

Charistas event and cultural is a cultural company that offers training and especially in theater.
