Zoundw©ogo: The Hope For private primary school in Nob©r© officially closed its 2025-2026 school year on Wednesday, during a ceremony marked by the awarding of the best students and deserving teachers, as well as a symbolic planting of trees on the grounds of the establishment.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony brought together administrative, customary and religious authorities, the driving forces of the community, parents of students and many guests who came to celebrate the achievements of the school. The school director, Pengdwend© Herman Guigma, thanked all the participants for their presence before giving a satisfactory assessment of the school year.
"All students in the intermediate classes are moving up to the next grade. All 58 candidates who took the Primary School Certificate (CEP) were admitted," he rejoiced. He also praised the dedication of the teaching staff and the constant support of the parents, which he said had largely contributed to the results achieved.
The representative of the head of the Basic Education District (CCEB), Inspector Fran§ois Segda, congratulated the students, teachers and school officials for their performance. He urged them to continue their efforts to maintain the school among the leading institutions in the community.
During the ceremony, the five best students in each class received school kits consisting of bags and school supplies. The teachers, for their part, were recognized with envelopes and traditional loincloths in appreciation of their commitment to education. The participants also carried out a symbolic tree planting in the schoolyard, reaffirming their commitment to environmental protection.
The ceremony was marked by artistic performances, including modern ballets, traditional Kiegba dances and musical entertainment.
