According to Namibia Press Agency, the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index also saw a significant drop, decreasing by 2.21 percent to end at 6,973.08 points. Additionally, the Hang Seng Tech Index experienced a notable decline, dipping 3.08 percent to conclude at 4,318.32 points. The day marked a unique occurrence as, for the first time, the Hong Kong stock exchange kept its markets open despite the hoisting of the No. 8 typhoon signal.
