Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Head of State, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, received the credentials of His Excellency Mr. Fabrice Boussougou Boussougou, the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic to Burkina Faso, who will reside in Abidjan.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Boussougou Boussougou is a seasoned career diplomat who has held significant positions within the central administration and various diplomatic representations of Gabon. His appointment signifies a concerted effort to bolster the ties between Burkina Faso and Gabon.



The diplomatic relationship between the two nations was initially rooted in migration patterns between their peoples. In 1973, these ties were formalized, and various agreements were signed to enhance cooperative efforts. The recent presentation of credentials by the Gabonese ambassador underscores the ongoing commitment to fortify these bilateral relations.
