Loroum: The two juries of the Primary School Certificate (CEP) examination announced their results on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with 433 students admitted out of 469 candidates, marking a success rate of 92.32%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, these results, as cited by the secretary general of the Titao town hall, Corneille Damiba, showcase the commitment and efforts made by teachers in the province despite facing significant challenges. The breakdown of the results shows that out of 469 candidates (232 girls and 237 boys), 433 students (218 girls and 215 boys) successfully passed the exam.
The Basic Education District (CEB) of Titao 1, which presented 335 students, saw 309 successful candidates, achieving an admission rate of 92.24%. Meanwhile, Titao 2, with 134 candidates, recorded 124 admissions, resulting in a success rate of 92.53%.
These impressive outcomes were realized in a challenging security environment, where community teachers were initially responsible for teaching before being replaced by regular teachers after the first quarter. Due to the ongoing security issues, only two of the four constituencies in the province managed to present candidates for the exams.
Sidiki Mand©, the provincial director responsible for primary education, expressed his satisfaction with the results and extended his gratitude to the stakeholders for their resilience. He noted that additional school days on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays were utilized to compensate for the delays at the start of the academic year.
Corneille Damiba, representing the President of the special delegation, praised the participants for their achievements and expressed optimism for improved conditions that would allow all schools to open, ensuring education for all children in Loroum.
