Zondoma: The High Commissioner invites conscripts to be available and diligent in attending classes. The official launch of the civic and patriotic education program in Zondoma Province took place at the Zondoma Provincial High School. Presided over by High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nabe, at least 2,480 middle school students will participate in this first phase.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this program has selected students from grades 6, 5, 4, 2, and 1 across five schools in the municipality of Gourcy. The objective is to instill values of integrity, patriotism, and discipline, aiming to nurture a generation of Burkinabe capable of defending their homeland. The program includes physical exercises, drills by security forces, and modules on civic values, community living, and environmental citizenship.
Addressing the participants, the provincial governor emphasized the importance of student availability and diligent attendance. He assured the administration's support and urged instructors to commit to their educational mission. The six-week program is managed by the Provincial Directorate of Secondary, Vocational, and Technical Education.
